At Fatima Farida Academy, we enrich the lives of our students, their families and communities through our principles of faith, education and services.
Our vision is to develop into a renowned world class Islamic institution that nurtures the children’s intellectual, physiological and spiritual wellbeing to enable them achieve their full potential and pursue their ambitions.
Being mindful of the fact that the early years of a child are crucial for the child’s overall wellbeing, we deem it a great responsibility to offer our ‘future leaders’ the excellent, intellectual, moral, physical and spiritual foundation that will position them to make meaningful contributions to our society.
Fatima Farida students participate in a challenging preparatory curriculum, from preschool to Junior High School, with ample opportunities for individual attention and personal growth.
We encourage critical thinking, practical application, and appreciation in our lessons so we have adapted the Ibn Khaldun philosophy and the National Curriculum, to our Islamic Curriculum which, meet the needs of Muslim children
We have a beautiful, clean and serene environment. Our classrooms are well aerated, spacious, well decorated and clean to facilitate teaching and learning. Our washrooms are excellent. There are numerous play items to help relax the minds of our students after learning in the classrooms.
We have excellent and experienced teachers who teach with love and dedication. The teachers try to understand the various learning styles of their pupils and teach them accordingly. There are at least two teachers in each class at the pre-school and lower primary levels and the subject teacher style for upper primary and Junior High School.
The schools management together with the teachers chooses books that satisfy the Ghana Education Curriculum’s lesson plan and our Islamic Studies Curriculum. Books that contain profane materials/subjects/pictures are not allowed. Books by professional and well known authors are chosen for teaching and learning.
The school is accredited by the Ghana Educational Service. It is duly registered with Registrar General’s Department and K.M.A. These bodies exercise oversight role and ensure that our facilities and training are in line with the required standards.
The school has well laid out disciplinary measures for all kinds of misbehavior by pupils. The school shall never discipline any child in any way that will cause any kind of harm to the child.
The school’s security is very tight. Pupils are not allowed to go out of the school once they come in the morning until school closes. There is a security point at the entrance of the school to prevent any insecurity issues.
