The uniform colours for Fatima Farida Academy are deep green, light green and white sown in different styles. The uniforms however conforms to the following;
The style for girls is long sleeve shirt and long skirt/trousers. The girls are also required to wear a white veil.
The style for the boys is short sleeve shirt and trousers.
These rules apply to our uniform
The uniform must not be resewn to be oversize or tight on the child. It must fit the child well.
Old uniforms with tears or holes must not be won.
Oversize or undersize shoes must not be won.
All foot wears are allowed except flip flops. Complex footwear that will cause any convenience during its removal and wearing is not allowed.
All kinds of rings other than ear rings for girls are not allowed. Ear rings for girls must be small and of simple design and must not be able to cause any injury.
Boys must have an even shaped haircut.
Girls’ hair must be well combed and plaited or held in a bun and a clean white veil won.
Boys must be in trousers and not shorts.
Girls’ skirts must not be cut short and the length required by the school must be maintained.
Only medical glasses or glasses won in times of any other eye problem will be allowed.
Pupils are allowed to wear hats and caps to school.
Make ups of any kind and artificial hair, nails, and others will not be allowed.
School bags should not have anything that promotes things against Islam on them.
School bags must be clean and of adequate size for the child.
Any play material brought in by a child must be presented to the school authority for inspection and acceptance.
In the case where home attires are to be won such as when a new entrant is yet to receive his or her uniform, the following apply;
The clothes won must not be transparent.
Girls and boys must not wear shorts.
Clothes should not have anything that promotes things against the principles of the Islamic faith on them.
Clothes must be clean and neatly ironed where necessary.
Clothes should be won with any nice shoe except flip flops.
Girls should put on a neat white veil over their dresses.
The clothes as much as possible must be in accordance with the Islamic style of dressing.
OUR END OF TERM ACTIVITIES
Dressing Style
Pupils will be informed before the vacation day on whether to wear home attires or school uniform for the end of term’s activities. Where home attire is to be won, the attire must conform to the Islamic code of dressing and girls must wear veils to match with their attires.
Food
Pupils are required to bring home cooked food and other food items. These foods will be eaten by the pupil at a gathering of all students during the school’s end of term’s activities.
Activity
Mostly, the school will choose to go to a particular recreational centre in town to celebrate its end of term. The school can also decide to use its premises for the end of term celebrations.
Pupils could play as much as possible, eat and drink, be given prizes, etc.
